First Highlight was the weather perfect temperature, some clouds and great enthusiasm not to mention some "pump up" music.

* Johnny Walker’s Power at the Plate: Smashes Double to Bring Home an RBI!”
* Mike Gist Delivers: Key Single Drives in Crucial Run!”
* Terry Lindquest’s Gap Double Drives in Key RBI!”
* Troy Dehart’s Two-Run HOME RUN Blast Ignites the Crowd!”
* Wally Yost’s Speed Shines: Triples to Drive in Two Key Runs!”
* Trippier (3B) to Baxter (MIF) to Rose (1B): Trio Executes Flawless Double Play!”
* Rick Springer (SS) making a backhand throw from his knees to Larry Gwinn (3B) for an out was quite a sight. Plays like that really showcase the skill and athleticism of the players involved.
* A clutch hit by John Skaggs! Driving in a key run with a single to right field can really change the
momentum of the game. It’s always exciting to see players come through in crucial moments like that.
* Tom Kobryn Executes Unassisted Double Play: Catches Pop-Up and Races to Second Base for Key 2 Out that ends an inning and a rally.
* Textbook double play! Rick Springer (SS) to RON Smith (MIF) to Jeff Zettler (1B).
* Bert Stohrer (P) Sprints to Field Slow Roller, Fires Bullet to Pete Freeman (1B) for Close Out”
* Randy Miller (LC) Defies Gravity: Tracks Down Fly Ball in the Gap for a Dazzling Out”
* John Skaggs (RC) Channels Rabbit-Like Speed to Throw Out Runner at Second Base”
* JR Thomas’ Lightning Speed Beats Runner to Second Base for a Sweet Out”

* Walt Fike drove in a clutch RBI with a sweet single.
* Mike Tohman also slashed a drive for an RBI single.
* Dave Busch had a HUGE triple to drive in 2 RBI's.
* Larry Gwinn, with his granddaughter in attendance, hit a seeing-eye single to drive in a key run.
* Doug Dodson drives in run number 5 to extend the lead.
* Doc Green made a nice backhand of a line drive foul ball for a much needed out.
* Bill Buhrer had a timely RBI single.
* Ron Miller blasted a 3 run RBI double, making a tighter score 15-14.
* Dick Reidenbach (SS) to Dick Smith (MIF) to Pete Freeman (1B) for a double play and end the game with the 15-14 win.
I know this is long and I know half the guys either don't read these highlights but I thank the ones who do read and hopefully enjoy them.
